With 80 watts of power, the Weller WDD81X Digital Shop Air Desoldering Station and DXV80 Desoldering Iron can handle even the heaviest ground planes and multi-layer boards quickly, reducing the risk of component damage. Digital process control allows exact temperature set for added control. The DXV80 iron uses threadless DX Series desoldering tiplets and is equipped with a disposable solder trap for quick and easy clean out. A vacuum delay feature allows solder to reach the collection chamber before the vacuum is shut off to avoid clogging.

The optional WCB1 control module provides temperature lock-out for process control, temperature set-back for extended tip life, and ° F to ° C conversion.
